Convinced the current music business infrastructure (requiring artists to rely on labels) is broken, Nine Inch Nails front man, Trent Reznor, released his band’s new album Sunday night via his official site, marking yet another business experiment for this artist in the changing music market.

Well, it seems to be working as the $300 Ultra-Deluxe Limited Edition has sold out of its 2,500 copies in under two days... so thats $750,000 then!

It makes trent reznor seem even less likeable.. first he realeases some sub standard albums, then he ruins Saul Williams newest album.  Now he does this.

i'm not going to waste my bandwidth, could someone else tell me if his new album has any redeeming qualities?

All the tracks are very very samey and there are no actual CH00NZ on it at all.

Interestingly I don't feel scammed as I paid in dollars for it, which isn't real money.

Yeah, theres a 5 buck option. I went for the 10 buck one and had to pay an extra 13 bucks for delivery of something to have and hold, but got to download the whole lot.

So what was it that you ordered Fizzgig? did you actually go for the CD? or did you just download it?
