Recruiting!

I still play Guildwars... just havent really had a chance to since moving... and currently the 'puter is stuck behind a load of boxes needing upacked ...
 
however anyone play Overlord on 360?- there never seems to be ANYONE wanting to play an online game of that ... boo.........SHEEPIES!!! 

i'm far too busy playing 'proper' games :P  i still need to finish bioshock, hl2 episode 2 (almost there), portal, a bunch of generic rpg's on the ps2, and i need to give the leaked pal uncut beta of manhunt 2 a look as well...

oh yeah, and college work.  basically if i played guild wars i wouldn't have time to do any of the above, or do work. 

Still haven't played overlord yet, its on my to buy list.   

I'll always have time for space giraffe though.. and Every Extend Extra Extreme.

HL2 EP2 = rubbish ;P

Portal is the best though, fantastic end credit song!!!

And TF2 is alright, but I got called a nub so am not playing now :(

what are you talking about, episode 2 is excellent!  sure its just more hl2... but i cant think of anything wrong with that..

 portal is probably the game that stands out more, admittedly. 

How about the repetative, mind numbingly boring fight scenes where you do little more then fight off waves of enemy? I can't stand this lazy style of game design. And the story was as thin as it could get.

Visually it was nice and the characters were as good as ever, but for me the final scene was the only one worth playing.

By the way you can download the crysis single player demo from here - http://na.llnet.cdn.ea.com/u/demos/Crysis_SP_Demo.exe - it's just as good as I was hoping for, but on my X1800XT and AMD 4200X2 processor it doesn't run to well. So I suppose it's a good job I have parts for a new Quad Core system with 6gb ram and a GTX sitting here heh :D (just need the damn psu).

Aye... but the game has to be written in a good multithreaded way to actually take advantage of the 4 cores...

Crysis has been designed for just that, more cores are apparently better than increased clock speed.

I wont have the psu until next week though, some tit cocked up the delivery.

Despite your criticism of hl2 episode 2, which i completely agree with, its still better than 99% of the fps's out there. plus i find its movie like set pieces very thrilling...  but thats because i'm dull.

But yes crysis will be fantastic,
