What a joke! ( The article, not the suicide )
If they want to run an article on dangerous subcultures they should use the space to write about the neds/chavs, the associated rise in violent youth crime, and what social factors created the situation in the first place.

ok 2nd attempt at posting.....first one disapeared into the eather..is this a case of parents trying to disguise bad parenting skills by blaming their daughters death on something else ?? another marilyn manson/columbine scenario.
got to agree with you on the dangerous subculture articles. have been looking into the s.o.p.h.i.e campain and it scary the amount of assults have been made by chavs/neds on people for no reason.

I think it's a bit harsh to blame the parents for the suicide, maybe they were great parents allowing her to do her thing as a teenager instead of watching her every move. Or maybe they could have watched a little closer, but with teenagers being teenagers who the hell knows what's going on!?
Also I don't think it's fair to expect the parents to think rationally about the issue, their child has died it's not going to happen. And I'd moan about the newspaper but it being the daily mail, its not even worthy of that.
Emo Followup...
